| 29/07/2010

Montserrat had a reason to celebrate last night as Ms. Sherelyn Dyer walked away with the trophy for Best Talent in the Caribbean Culture Pageant in Nevis.

Ms. Dyer blew the audience away with her piece entitled “A Twist on Abuse”.

The dramatized presentation depicted a young girl who was abused as a child eventually turning into an enraged and psychotic individual who abused her husband.

The piece was written by Sherelyn herself, Luceena Weekes, Ronel White, Sharlene Lindsawy and was modified by local playwright and actress Constanshaw Anang.

Miss. Dyer performed commendably in the other segments displaying confidence throughout the entire show.

The Pageant was won by Sangrena Harris of Anguilla while 1st Runner up went to St. Kitts, 2nd Runner up Trinidad and Tobago and 3rd Runner up Barbados.
