(January 12) While Carnival Cruise Lines have opted not to participate in a second International Cougar Cruise, Royal Caribbean and Norwegian Cruise Lines are embracing the singles crowd.

California-based Singles Travel Company is kicking off their Second International Cougar Cruise, May 16th through 23rd, on Royal Caribbean’s Mariner of the Seas. The first cougar cruise, launched last month on the Carnival’s Elation. The expedition reportedly was a success but in lieu of great controversy, Carnival has decided not to repeat the voyage.

Royal Caribbean’s cougar cruise features seven-nights from Los Angeles to Mexico and rates start at only $399 per person.

Norwegian Cruise Line will follow up with their cougar cruise in December in the Bahamas.
